Keep Our Factory Humming...

by Kitsbow Admin May 17, 2019

Ace Manufacturing Technician Wanted.

This is an opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a growing apparel company, and apply your mechanical skills in a constantly evolving maker environment.

Kitsbow is one of the few apparel manufacturers in the U.S. utilizing lean manufacturing (aka Toyota Way methodology) where small adjustments in the flow of work make a big difference to the bottom line, and where quality is the highest priority. Not only keeping the machines running, but customizing our equipment to optimize production.

You will be a hands-on member of the production team, noticing where your colleagues encounter quality problems, delays and inefficiencies… and coming up with creative solutions that really matter. Because we're changing the world, we sometimes need to build (or modify) the tools we need, they don’t exist ready to use on a shelf somewhere.

Big plus for lean manufacturing expertise, demonstrable machining/woodworking skills, CAD/CAM experience, and familiarity with sewing machines. Bonus points for conversational Spanish.

If you want to change the world of apparel manufacturing, come join our team!

Compensation: Depending upon experience

Hours: Flexible, this role can be part-time or full-time

Full-time employment includes health benefits.
