Compensation: Based on Experience
Product Engineer Wanted.
This is an opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a growing apparel company, and apply your organizational skills and engineering acumen in a constantly-evolving high growth environment.
Kitsbow is one of the few apparel manufacturers in the U.S. utilizing lean manufacturing (aka Toyota Way methodology) where small adjustments in the flow of work make a big difference to the bottom line, and where safety, quality, and the right product at the right time are the highest priorities. We’re not like other apparel companies.
We need a mechanical engineer to help transform stylish and functional ideas and designs into fully-detailed product specifications. Your work will ensure our production team knows exactly what they need to make. Our commitment to quality and precision (some call it “obsessive”) means that we need relentless attention to precision and accuracy.
You will be hands-on and in the details, working with both our talented Design Team and our awesome Production Team, helping to balance the needs of design and production. Which means you love utilizing CAD, spreadsheets, and databases.
Because we’re changing the world, we’re developing our methodologies and software to support our methods… as we do our work. Developing best practices while using those same practices can be challenging. This is not for the faint of heart.
Location: We’re located in Old Fort, NC -- and we ride gravel and single track from the office. We practice “Wear Test Wednesdays” when we ride our bikes and test the products that we make… regardless of your skill level, everyone is welcome.
Compensation: Depending upon experience includes health benefits.
Hours: Full-time salaried (5-day week)
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your short description of why you’re interested, and what you would bring to our party.
A LinkedIn profile link would also be appropriate, and a PDF resume if you must.
We ship every day, direct from our production crew, and we need you to delight customers with perfect shipments.
You will be both a player on the field as well as a coach, keeping the trains running on time with all physical inventory, shipping, and receiving (player) and helping our young team develop best practices for inventory and shipping (coach).
Customer Service Sherpas always Wanted.
Play a vital role in providing unequivocally excellent customer service with a variety of tasks including but not limited to: customer emails and phone calls, fulfilling marketing requests, processing special shipments, and working with the team to solve problems and meet goals.
