The Alpha Snap Jacket Makes Bike Rumor’s Clothing Roundup

Kitsbow has partnered with Polartec to launch the Alpha Snap Jacket. While not cycling specific, it looks versatile enough for commuting to the mild winter mountain bike ride.

It’s built with the usual top shelf fabrics the brand is known for (and a price to match…$389 for the top), with the piece named after the Polartec Alpha insulation originally developed for the armed forces. The body is Pertex, a durable but breathable fabric made specifically for outdoorsy garments, with Schoeller 3XDRY panels on the sides and forearms for flexibility.
