RE-USE AND RECYCLE
If you're done with your Kitsbow, because it doesn't fit any more, because you don't ride any more, or really for any reason -- then we strongly recommend you move it on to its Forever Home via Experienced Apparel, where you can sell Kitsbow for cash or Kitsbow.com store credit.
These are the only bike shorts I wear postpartum
When I was ready to get back on my bike after having my son via C-Section, I found the band in all pairs of my bike shorts (that had always cut into me unless positioned lower on my waist) was painful to a point of distraction. I love wool and had purchased one Icon shirt to replace a couple of my flannels that had run their course. After being blow away by the attention to detail (and well worth the price), I purchased the bike shorts because I noticed the wide band in front. Now I feel silly for making myself ride in shorts - even if sparingly - that no longer served my postpartum body for any amount of time, let alone months. I find myself wearing my bike shorts all weekend these days now that my son is heading towards year two - weekends riding all over town for parks, groceries, and grandparents are better with these shorts (and they don’t need to be washed as often - they still look new).
Super comfy chamois that actually wicks moisture away instead of becoming a soggy, chafe inducing pad. The only things I wish were different are the waist and leg bands. I would love wider bands on both ends to make it the most comfortable chamois ever!
So nice to have shorts that don’t adhere to my skin when sweaty. Leg band is a bit odd...not snug. But once I was riding bike it was fine.
Tsali Merino Cycling Short
Loving this pair of cycling shorts. Comfortable, not bulky in the sit-bones and wash well. Would buy-again!
Kitsbow's Gift to Bikepackers
I bought these merino shorts specifically for bikepacking. After wearing them on a few trips, I can safely say that they are by far my favorite backcountry short! They were as soft after several days in the backcountry as they were on the first day. They maintained their shape and the fit is dialed. They were comfortable for HABs. They never smelled. I never felt too hot in them. Can't comment yet on how they'll hold up over several seasons, but they appear to be made to last. Thanks for making such a fantastic product!
