best fitting shirts i own
i bought this after having bought the 3/4 sleeve version some months prior. i love these shirts. they’re comfortable, fit me well, and the color is great.
Just right merino
We had a lovely fall day here in the Tetons; sunny with just a nip of cool fall air. I mountain biked through dappled sunlight in the forest and then climbed up to beautiful open meadows with much warmer temperatures. This merino t was perfect. Warm in the cool forest and stayed cool in the sunny meadow. No sweat with excellent wicking and no itch like the wool of old. Might have to wear it again tomorrow!
This shirt is great. Although I haven’t had the e opportunity to use it on a ride I have worn the 3/4 sleeve version on a ride and it wicks away sweat and keeps me dry for those cooler days on the bike. I have worn the tee on a hike and it functioned well.
I own many Merino and Merino Blend shirts (e.g., Ibex, Icebreaker, Minus33, Patagonia, Smartwool). As a group they are simply the best for travel. I recently spent 3 weeks in Iceland on a bike packing tour. I brought two of the Mullinax t-shirts - I only needed one. I spent 20 of my 21 days in only one of the Mullinax shirts - sleeping, riding, all of it. I was absolutely blown away with its performance - and by performance, really I am talking about smell. There was not even a hint of body odor on the shirt. Dries quickly. Seems best suited for cooler/cold temps (<65 degrees). I won't hesitate to purchase more!
Everything, Everywhere Shirt
This is my second Mullinax, plus a 3/4 length I bought last year. Eventually, I'll have one in every color. It's another Goldilocks garment from Kitsbow - magically "just right" in just about every situation. It performs as well as you'd expect from a merino t-shirt. It's great on the bike as a base layer in the cold or by itself in warm (but not hot) weather. It looks great with jeans, and it will definitely be in my pack when I head off to Colorado next month to tackle a couple 14ers on foot. Highly recommend.
