Great Good fit, comfortable, pads in the correct locations
So I ordered a XL thinking it was the same fit as the all fabric glove they sell. I was wrong. The XL in the fabric fit just fine. Not so with the leather. So using their fabulous return system and reusable bag I sent it back and got the large. The large fits great. Love the feel of it. Just after a few uses it’s beginning to mold to my hands. The loop for pulling it snug past the wrist is a nice feature. Really nice ventilation. One complaint - I got the impression from the website that it was made in the USA. It is made in Vietnam. It is designed in the USA and made in Vietnam. Kitsbow partnered with Mechanix to design the glove. I’m just glad that the vast majority of their products are made in the USA. Quality company all away around. A real gem in the USA.
I love these so much. Let my brother borrow these and had to get him a pair. Great for ripping or just a relaxing ride.
I was excited when these gloves came into stock again. I often use the lightweight glove but needed something a bit more protective for some of my mountain biking. The gloves fit well except for the thumb which I thought was just me but I see other users have found to be an issue too. The thumb cut is a bit short for my hand in size large meaning that all the other fingers fit well. The material on the back of the thumb is robust and not that elastic. If I keep my thumbnails cut very short the glove works moderately well but I still get some "thumb jam". I love the Kitsbow quality so I'm waiting for the glove to stretch out. I have about a dozen rides in so hopefully this will happen as my hands get sweatier this summer!
Nice gloves. Comfortable and grippy for rides. I measured my hands using the sizing guide and ordered the corresponding size. The fit started snug and was spot on for my fingers, but the thumbs felt too short and tight when gripping the handlebars--so tight my thumb tips were getting a bit numb. They stretched out over three rides and fit now. It would be helpful to have regular glove sizing (i.e. 10, 11) indicated with the sizing guide (S, M, L, etc) since I know my typical glove size and would have ordered based on that. My review of fit is based on the sizing guide Kitsbow gave. Had I order my normal numeric glove size, I think they would have been spot on.
