Tsali Cycling Short

At Kitsbow, our aspirations are nothing short of perfection. For this most crucial piece of kit, we made no compromises. We used high-performance fabrics, a top of the line multi-density chamois made in Italy, and meticulous construction to create a premium short, optimized to enjoy long days in the saddle with the benefits of a lightweight compression fabric.

We know many women who use this as their sole short for all types of riding, whether layering in the cold or on its own in the heat.

Fabrication & Features

  • Constructed from a nylon compression fabric chosen for durability, breathability and it's ability to wick moisture
  • Fitted with an Italian-made, multi-density women’s Cytech EIT (Elastic Interface Technology) insert featuring carbon yarn to expedite dry time and increase the pad's anti-microbial properties
  • The waistband is constructed for both ultimate comfort and a secure stay-in-place fit; the front portion of waistband is purposely constructed to do away with seams and stitching, while back is cut higher and features a gripper waistband to stay in place while in the saddle
  • Silicone gripper bead along the liner’s outer side hem keeps outer short snug, on the inside waist and lower leg hem to keep them in place
  • Women’s specific Cytech pad is designed to provide complete support and freedom of movement while offering superior breathability, moisture transfer and comfort
  • Sewn in the USA (California)

Superb quality short

Superb quality and fit - and very comfortable. They may run slightly small, though I think the fit is spot on - nice and snug around the thighs and hips but a nice comfortable waist and not too tight around the leg gripper so no 'unsightly bulge'. My first pair was a large and they fit fine but I bought a second pair in M (my normal size) and I think the fit is better - bike shorts should be snug. The chamois is thick enough to give you comfort but not too thick to feel bulky on long rides - more is not always better and Kitsbow seems to recognize this. The length is slightly shorter than other mainstream shorts so if you've been out in the sun in other shorts it may take a few rides to even out the tan lines!

I am a 5'11" woman with a 29" waist and 34" hips. The size medium fits awesomely. Super snug through the hips and waist, I experience zero slippage during rides. I wear them as a liner with 10" mtn bike shorts, and am happy to say they don't peek out underneath my over-shorts, even with bent knees. I'm a big fan of the low-profile chamois, perfect for mid-to-long length rides where plush chamois end up rubbing. Definitely my new favorite riding shorts.
