Everyday adventure just got an upgrade

The Haskell Short introduced not just a riding short that looked good off the bike, but a distinctive silhouette and comfortable fit, helping us look good in any situation. Bonus points that we can jump on two wheels and cross town with ease. Now we have the same thing in a stylish pant.

Rugged style, great feel, and easy drape. Definitely not a khaki chino or a “mountain pant”, but a stylish pant that pairs well with all of your Kitsbow shirts and tops, or a Kitsbow Icon.

Like the Haskell Short, there are 6 pockets, belt loops for an optional belt, and reflective hits should you find yourself out riding at night.

Haskell is Fav pant

This pant has nice durable fabric with some stretch to it. Great for active use or out and about. I bought several pairs. I use for post MTB, van trips, hiking, and just hanging out.

Wish they fit!

I really wanted to keep these pants but ultimately had to return them. I originally ordered a size 35, but they were too baggy. I exchanged them for a 34 which turned out to be a bit tight; almost like they had already shrunk in the dryer or something (if comparing to my experience with the size 35 pants). This wasn’t a huge deal breaker, but the fabric covering the zipper flared out making the pants rather unsightly. All in all, I really want these pants but it appears the fit isn’t right for my body. The legs were loose and the waist was tight, plus the zipper fabric issue. Not sure why the weird fit...I’m 5’9” 168lbs and the two shorts I purchased from Kitsbow in the same size are perfect. The medium size Icon I purchased recently fits great as well. Oh well, still love Kitsbow!

Proud Owner of both Haskell pants and shorts

After having the shorts I had to try the pants. I would agree with other reviews that these are heavy pants. I look forward to riding in the cooler weather with them. I was hesitant on purchasing them do to only have a 32 inseam for all sizes as I normally wear a 36/34 in pants. To my surprise when getting them they fit perfectly and doesn't look like I am waiting for a flood. I have already worn them as a pair of khakis to work and got great compliments about them.

Like Shorts But Better

I own both the Haskell Short and now the Pant. I haven't ridden in the Haskell Short much because they feel a bit heavy for fast pedals in the summer. These pants are also too hot for summer, but for shoulder seasons and cooler temps they amazingly pedal even better than the shorts. They double as a classy work pant, and could be the perfect commuting pant. I would recommend these if you are looking for a riding pant that offers style, good protection, and cooler weather comfort, but if you are looking for a very light-weight or warmer weather option, check the Cuyuna.

High hopes, but ultimately disappointing

On December 3 I traveled to Colombia for a year long cycle trip through South America. I brought these pants as my only pair, so they had a daunting task ahead of them. First the good: I used them pretty much daily for the last five months and they have held together well. No tears, no issues with manufacturing that had all been fine. My main issues with the pants is they are quite baggy, not very flattering on me and really, they looked like every other travel pant that you can get at the mall. the second issue is they are heavy. They weight in at 582g for the size 31 on my scale, which is 200g heavier than other similar style pants. For most this might not be an issue, but for someone traveling by bicycle, every gram counts (especially in the Andes). I wanted to love these pants, but for me it was hard to get past these two issues. I've since ditched these pants in favor of some pants I picked up in a mall in Ecuador.
