The Escalator Merino Henley features an extremely adaptable dual-facing merino fabric. The (34%) soft merino yarn sits next to skin and pulls away moisture while regulating temperature. And the (66%) polyester yarns are knit to the outside, facing the elements, delivering toughness and quick drying.
Along with the companion product, the Lory Merino Henley (the women's fit) the Escalator is one of our most popular products -- and a staff favorite. It is packs tiny and light, perfect as a mid-layer or light sweater on the bike, traveling in a plane, or headed into a restaurant. Some skin-sensitive users report this is the one wool they can wear without irritation.

Contact us. We'll probably ask you to ship it to us, but talk to us first. If we can't repair it, we'll find a way to get you back on the bike at a nominal cost.
LIFETIME WARRANTY
If your Kitsbow fails due to a manufacturing flaw, we will fix it or replace it. Of course, this does NOT include damage from normal wear and tear (or flaws you consider a mistake in the design). Contact us to start the process.
REPAIRS
Now if your dog ate your Kitsbow, don't stress. We offer repair services, so get in touch and we'll help you start the process.
RE-USE AND RECYCLE
If you're done with your Kitsbow, because it doesn't fit any more, because you don't ride any more, or really for any reason -- then we strongly recommend you move it on to its Forever Home via Experienced Apparel, where you can sell Kitsbow for cash or Kitsbow.com store credit.
Caring for your Kitsbow gear properly will extend its life by maintaining its performance, fit, and quality.

United StatesGreat base layer, super soft against the skin
Love this shirt - fits well, super-soft against the skin as a base layer. Have worn it in several sweaty scenarios - running outside in the winter, skinning uphill - and it has performed great, just as Merino should, but also softer than I was expecting. Can't speak to long-term durability yet, but I find myself wearing it a lot.
The Goldilocks Shirt
I'm not big on writing reviews but I'm a huge gear geek and a long-time fan / customer of Kitsbow. Outside of cycling, I also do a lot of backpacking, paddlesports, etc in the outdoors and I've tried lots of different 'base' layers...this has become my all-time favorite piece of clothing. I say 'base' because I've used it next skin and over another layer and it works great both ways...but it really is amazing next to skin. I visited Kitsbow on a summer roadtrip this summer and they had a few of these out, on sale, in a size that was one too big for me. But after trying it on, I had to have it...the bagginess of it is as much of a plus as a detriment. I bought two, one 'henley' (with buttons) and one without. I found myself grabbing it for everything including lounging around the house and sleeping. I've subsequently bought two more and have basically been living in these...my wife is just about done listening to me go on about the virtues of this shirt. I love it...figured I'd tell other people about it, too. I don't know how this shirt could disappoint. I'd suggest that if you're on the fence about sizing, to size up relative to other Kitsbow shirts.

We wore these almost exclusively during a week long video shoot in every type of weather that Colombia could throw at us: chilly high altitude mornings, dumping thunderstorms, 95 degree heat with 100% humidity. Was blown away at how well they tackled them all. Got a bit toasty in the desert, but they wicked exceptionally well, dried super fast, and didn't stink even after a full day of running around with cameras. An amazing all-purpose travel shirt. Fit is snug, so size up if you want a more casual fit.

This is a good top. It’s a little heavier weight than some of the Kitsbow tops, and I tend to wear it over a t-shirt as a warm-me-up layer. It’s stylish and has been durable. A solid piece.

A great garment all around. Super well made - great stitching, materials, cut, aesthetics. Fabric is very comfortable. Haven’t used it yet for workouts/rides, but imagine it will perform well with wicking and all that when I do. Fits true to size for a form fit. I’m 5’10”, 170 lb and typically wear a medium for a closer fit. I got this in a medium and is well-fitted; not quite snug, but close. Will do well for layering, and I’m happy with that size. Could also go with a large for more of a loose fit for lounging around. Would highly recommend.
