I'm a one-pants kind of guy, and these are my one pants for the foreseeable future

I got these pants as a gift at the end of spring last year, so I packed them away and nearly forgot about them. The weather turned last month, so I pulled them out and have worn them every day since. I'm 5'5" #175 with bigger hips and thighs, so I did have them hemmed a little bit shorter and tapered to have a bit more of a chino cut (personal preference, as a shorter, stockier guy I think the wider legs make me look silly). I've commuted in them, worked in all conditions at cyclocross races in them, and even wore them to a cyclocross practice after forgetting bibs. I'm really happy with how they are holding up; any other pants I know would have been restrictive and likely split practicing dismounts and remounts, but they look no worse for the wear. I look forward to wearing them all winter and hopefully having them last for many years!

Haskell Pants

I purchased shorts several years ago. They fit great and I loved them and had been thinking about the pants for several years. I was unsure of the size and went with 30 /30. I am 5' 8", 150#. Perfect fit. The pants are a mid weight so they are comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. They are great for wearing out in the woods and/or out to dinner. They're a bit heavy for cycling for me but I usually cycle in knickers. Great attention to detail. They arrived much faster than the 8 weeks the web site said it would take. Possibly as little as 2 weeks. Unlike the shorts they don't have a great cell pocket for my larger cell phone but the rear pockets are generous enough for a phone. Well done.

best piece of clothing I've purchased all year

Just back from a trip out of the country where I wore these pants on an airplane. Wore these pants on long car and train rides. Out to nice dinners. On long walks through small towns. Wore them even Nordic skiing and alpine skiing (because I was trying to pack light). Washed these pants at night with no dryer (international travel!), hung them, and put them on dry in the morning. Basically didn't take them off. Can I express how much I love these pants? Wish I could rate them 10 stars, not five. The fit rocks, and as a bonus, my wife thinks the fit is awesome too (and told me to order the same pant in the other colors). That's a tall order for me, with a 6'6" frame and 34 inch waist. Last year I tried the Mescal shorts. They were awesome. It got my attention. So glad I gave these pants a shot. Thank you Kitsbow! Haven’t been this excited about apparel in recent memory, if ever.

Ludicrously versatile

With a softshell, these pants are perfect for my one-hour ride to work. With a dress shirt, they're perfect in the office. With a jersey, they're perfect mtb trail pants. And they're the most comfortable pants I own. They're magical. Biggest quibble: the opening on the thigh pocket is too small to get a smartphone in and out easily. I've had a fair number of Kitsbow items, some great and some not, and the Haskell pants are my favorite by a country mile.

As expected, terrific!

After a 7 week wait, I just got the Haskell pants via FedEx. I've had a pair of Haskell shorts for a couple of years and have tried to buy the pants, but they were not in production. I'm 6'1" and 183 lbs., so I ordered a 34 waist & 33 inseam. The fit is perfect, almost custom. While I may do some city rides in these, I expect to use these more for travel. I've done several multi week trips recently, and after 10 days, all pants look like I've slept in them .... for a month. The Haskell shorts shed wrinkles and dirt like crazy, and the pants are made of the same beefy fabric. The pants were double folded for shipping and in talking them out of the box, there were zero wrinkles, so it looks promising. Most clothing today is all about cheap pricing and **** quality. I've bought a lot of Kitsbow stuff, and it's all good.
