Great all around shorts
Very comfortable fit and I like the stretch and quality of the material. They have been durable and much cooler than the weight of the material would suggest. I've been wearing them on and off the bike all summer- hiking, working, riding, and just casual around town. Great to drink beer in. The pockets are functional and the button closure style works for me. Can't wait until I can get around to ordering another pair.
Tough yet comfortable
Comfortable, yet super rugged shorts for the trails, or hanging out. They are not as heavy as people claim, but they are heavier than cheap shorts not built to last. Color, cut, and style is A+. Will definitely order more in the future. Highly recommend.
Really great product but …
So these arrived the other day. My first impression was that these shorts will last a lifetime. They construction is superb and superior to any shorts I have ever seen. They are a little on the heavy side - something I’m not used to in my other shorts. These are great if you’re really putting your shorts through the wringer on a regular basis. But I am not so I was happy to see the lighter Haskell shorts become available. I used the awesome exchange “program” on the Kitsbow site and evenly traded them for the lighter version. It really is quite nice being able to do that. Incredible company.
Very high quality product
I was so pleased to receive these shorts. I really like the Kitsbow shirts, but had not previously experienced their shorts or pants. As soon as I opened the box, I was struck by the high quality of materials and craftsmanship. In fact, I got online and ordered another pair in another color.
A couple of years in, I wore them on a 2 month trip in Costa Rica and their still like new
I bought these shorts a couple years ago (back when Kitsbow moved out of NorCal) on clearance and they're my favorite riding shorts so they get worn more than my other pairs. We just took a trip to Costa Rica and I brought them and because I was packing light I only had 3 pairs of shorts total for 2 months, wearing them several days a week and (mostly) hand washing in between. They were comfortable, dried fast, and look great. My wife asked me if I bought a new pair as she hadn't seen me wear them off the bike. Sure they're expensive, but they're quality and they last. My only "complaint" is they're a bit heavy on the hottest days when you're really exerting yourself so if the temps are pushing 90+ I'll go for lighter fabric. Fully recommend.
