Title of review should be enough. They’ve taken a pounding in the week I’ve had them skidding across sandstone, and I’m confident enough that they’re going on the Tour Divide with me in July. Get some and be done buying shorts for years to come.
Love these. Own 3 pair. Outstanding quality and fit. Wear them both on trail and casual.
A very well made pair of shorts. I normally fit in 33 waist shorts and the 33 fits good, a little tight but since there isn't any waist adjustment, it's good to keep them from slipping. The construction is very heavy duty and I was worried they were too heavy for mountain biking but they disappear once you get pedaling. Baggier in the leg area than expected, they fit very much like regular walking shorts. A great short for shorter rides that involve beer stops.
I bought the Haskell shorts based on reviews on Bikepacking.com and other websites. I wanted something to wear when trail riding, hiking or to wear over traditional bibs when riding into work. The shorts do all that and more, and I find myself chasing them for ‘regular’ non-technical activities. 1 Star off because they are a heavy material and I don't think that’s reflected in the product description. You will sweat in these; they don't seem to breathe so well. I suspect they will last many, many years.
Taking these on a two week bikepacking trip to Spain. They seem a bit earlier than I expected so I hope they soften up. They chafe my winter white legs a bit. It has been -30 here so I haven't had the shorts out on the trail yet
