After years of making the best wool flannel in the field we’re adding denim to our line, creating a new American classic; The Denim Icon. With blueprints identical to our classic Wool Icon, the Denim Icon introduces a new durability and a new edge to our long-time favorite shirt. We make the Denim Icon using a (Cordura’s) durable 4-way stretch twill. The 3-way blend of fibers in our denim offers the comfort and hard-working heritage of cotton, the durability and abrasion resistance of nylon, and the engineered flexibility of lycra to keep you moving. The proven comfort and fit of the Icon Shirt's vented gussets mean this shirt never binds across the back of your shoulders while you ride (or type a keyboard), and the front snaps and rear vents equip you to wear it in hotter temps than any other denim shirt. Purpose-designed, and made to order in the exact size you specify in Old Fort, NC.

No other "denim jacket" like it, anywhere

I am thrilled with my Denim Icon, which I ordered as Relaxed Athletic Fit in a Short (I have t-rex arms)... one size larger than I needed. I wear it as a jacket. But here's the thing: it is easily the most comfortable "denim jacket" I've ever had, because of those awesome gussets -- it never binds across my shoulders, whether on the bike (only worn it once on the bike) or typing on a keyboard. And it cuts the wind better than my wool Icon. And I can wear it in warmer weather than any previous denim jacket, because of the venting. Simply unique. My go-to outerwear for almost anything at this time of year, and so classy!
