We took a classic three-pocket cycling shape and pushed it further to meet the needs of modern mountain bikers. Utilizing breathable, moisture-wicking fabric and tough abrasion panels, the Origin Longsleeve Jersey is ready for trail duty.
"Remaining true to the Kitsbow philosophy that, “anything worth doing is worth doing with the best of what’s available,” the Origin Collection is an impressive addition to any cyclist’s wardrobe. Both the long sleeve and short sleeve jerseys breath well, effectively wick moisture, and feature strategically-placed Schoeller fabric panels that won’t tear if you snag a trailside branch or take an unscheduled tumble."
"When it comes to minimal, well-designed, tonal mountain bike clothing, one brand stands out above the rest: Kitsbow. The Petaluma, CA based brand is making some of the best mountain bike clothing on the market."
This is a very nice item. Now the Buts: I ordered a xxl. If I did not have shoulders, chest, it would be fine. It is soo small there was a 6 inch gap on trying to zip up. The way this is made it must be made in China with their sizing, and no American quality control by your company.
I LOVE these jerseys. Have a couple and they’re my overall favorite. I’m 6’2”, 180 lbs and the large is a perfect fit. Good coverage and length, trim but not too snug. 100% of my riding is off road. 50 to 60 degrees I wear this with a wicking tee underneath. 40 to 50 degrees and add the wind vest and you’re golden. 30 to 40, throw on a light shell. Sub 30 and you’ll want something heavier. It’s also worth mentioning the zipper works great, is smooth to operate with one hand while ripping single track and hasn’t stuck on me yet after many rides and washes.
I haven't ridden with it much, the fit is good, but at 6', riding a small is kind of odd. Reading the reviews and sizing guide helped though. And it works. Then, well, I've been riding for many, many years, and this might be one of the smelliest jerseys I've had in my collection, which includes various items from low to high end, from cotton to Merino wool.
I've worn this many times on my rides here in the Rockies and it performs perfectly. I tend to sweat a lot, so as I'm going up it gets a bit damp. The wicking is really good though, and as I'm coming back down I don't freeze because of the sweat buildup that I get with other jerseys. Paired with my Kitsbow Windjacket, it's the perfect riding setup for fall and spring, sometimes winter too. Another layer comes into play then, the Powerwool Baselayer.
This is a great long sleeve jersey. I’ve ridden down to about 50 degrees with it so far and remained comfortable. Beware of the sizing! I normally wear Large or XL in other brands... I ended up with a medium. Great customer service and return policy.
