The Tahoe Twirl Tee is one of a series of shirts made with TS Designs of Burlington, North Carolina. Known for their triple-bottom-line business model: People, Planet, and Profits; it naturally made sense to turn to TS Designs when we went to make our shirts in the USA.
By working with TS Designs, we are helping support American Jobs and making the best quality graphic tee possible. These shirts are crafted with quality from knit to finish in the United States. The cotton is 100% organic. The fabric is cut and sewn in the USA. And the design, print and dye are all done in the USA.
TS Designs uses a water-based print and dye process, which eliminates shrinkage and design fade, but more importantly has a lower environmental impact than standard processes.
Damn, this shirt is soft! You could touch this blindfolded and know that this is much higher quality than most of the t-shirts that you get these days. The fit is spot on and nicely tailored and given the fact that it is pre-shrunk, you know how it will fit for life the first time that you try it on. Also the fact that it is 100% made in the USA from start to finish right down to the cotton means that I can feel good about wearing it, knowing that it was made by fairly compensated craftspeople with consideration for the environment. My favorite t-shirt!
I like the graphic treatment, but I love the feel. Comfy cotton, and I appreciate that the fabric is the same whether part of the graphic or the rest of the shirt. I have another shirt from your partner TS Designs and it looks the same now as when I bought it 6 years ago. They are definitely about durability. Thank you!
T-Shirts are always a **** shoot. Some fit too big, some too small, some start out just right and then, even when hung dry after first wash... are never the same. Kitsbow nailed the fit, shape, and feel with TS. It's nice to see them settle and collaborate with a brand that has both their priorities straight and truly pre-washes their stuff before it goes out, ensuring a true fit for life of product.
