I love this top; I only wish it was a bit longer in the torso. Thank you.
Another great shirt by Kitsbow. Good for a ride, the gym or with a pair of jeans. Stretchy where it needs to be and breathable. I will probably get a couple more. I did need a bigger size than I normally wear. I'm 5"2 , 118 lbs and the small fits well. The extra small was too short and I have a shorter torso.
I bought this to replace a Duckworth thin-layer wool-blend sweater I bought in Montana several years ago. So hard to find wool blends that don't itch! I took a chance and ordered my Lory top from you and I am completely happy. The silver-gray color (not sure what its true name is) is perfect and I must admit, one night I tumbled into bed exhausted and woke up in the morning to find I was still wearing the sweater over my T-shirt -- such a testimony to its comfort and lack of any scratchiness whatsoever. I will be splurging soon on my second one! As far as size, I'm pretty scrawny but I'm happy I got the Medium as I will always be wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt underneath. It fits perfectly.
I love this shirt! I got both the women’s lory and the men’s escalator. Both are great for layering and wick moisture so well during sweaty rides. The women’s shirt has a wider more feminine neckline whereas I also like the longer hem and sleeves on the men’s. I wear each depending on how much coverage I’m looking for. Highly recommend both.
I wore this for the first time on a ride that started pre-dawn on Sunday morning with the temp in the low 20s(F). I was doing urban riding on paved roads (for this first run), but carrying an awkward 20 lb pack with not the best straps, that held my spotting scope, tripod, binoculars and other necessities (hot tea!!). I rode for over 2 hours and had two longer 10-20 minute stops in addition to a few shorter ones. I used the lory as a base layer with a light wool s/s jersey on top and a windproof cycling jacket. I was very pleased with the performance of the lory. While other parts of me got cold, my core stayed good under the lory, and I did not feel sweaty on those longer stops, and in fact stayed at a comfortable temperature. I also got no chafing from the pack straps, which was pretty surprising. Also, I was a little concerned by the reviews when I bought it, given that it said it ran small and my chest size is actually a bit bigger than was stated for XL. The shirt fit me fine though, without any obvious tightness. So, either they've changed the sizing based on prior reviews or chest size wasn't the issue. I am only 5'3" so would probably not notice any length/sleeve issues as far as sizing goes. As far as looks, I would be tempted to wear this shirt every day, as it's gorgeous! The only small disappointment that I had with the design was that the neckline was lower than I anticipated, which I thought might impact cold weather riding but really didn't. It would be nice to see this as a t-neck or zip-t!
