At Kitsbow, we make more than 50% of our products in the USA. And our U.S. sewn products are produced in small batches, as our customers need them.

There are many benefits to sewing in the USA, but the most important is that we have dramatically reduced the waste that is an epidemic in the apparel industry: clothes that don't sell are first marked down, and then burned or buried in the landfill (as much as 30-40% of all apparel meets this fate).

At Kitsbow, we only make what we sell. By avoiding the guess work about what will sell and what must be trashed, we harm the planet just a little bit less.

And we can be nimble about offering new colors, new styles. We can keep an eye on quality issues, since it is our production line. We can obsess about delivering the best possible product, with the lowest possible waste.
