As I’ve only had 1 ride in these, the jury is still out. I have much experience with knee warmers which have worked well for me and I’m not sure what to think yet. I originally ordered the medium as my thigh and calf dimensions aligned perfectly with the size chart. Upon arrival I found the warmers to be significantly small and restricted movement to the sides and behind both knees. I returned for a large (the return process is phenomenal!!!) and the large warmers seem to stay in place adequately, but (and the other shoe drops)...I had some discomfort behind the knee. So this isn’t a positive nor is this a negative review. With high end times of this quality I feel there is a break in period. Now that our snow is melting I will be putting these through their paces. Is there anyway to have a follow up review? Ambassadors, please let me know!!!

once I figured out to size down, and make sure that the bend on the knee warmer matched up with my knee bend, and make sure it touched my skin and bibs overlapped, it worked great. It’s a nice way to add a lot of variety and options, instead of just using that one winter right I have. :-)

Do you ever like keeping kit bits on after a big ride. All your buddies change out of their dirty/sweaty gear, but you want to prolong that post ride happy feeling. You are so comfortable, you stay in your gear at the bar/BBQ at buddy’s place/parking lot soiree/or that evening Michelin star rated restaurant you are taking your spouse to for your anniversary (ok last one is stretching it a bit). I do when I’m wearing Kitsbow. Call me gross, but no one ever complains that my clothes smell or that I look out of place. These knee warmer are so comfy. Warm knees = comfy/flex knees. Grippers are great and from a size perspective I recommend going w whatever your short/bib size is.

This year has been a "ramp up" of sorts for my riding to prepare for the upcoming Arizona and the Colorado Trail Races. With these knee warmers under my kit I can hit the road, gravel, and trail knowing that I've got the warmth I need. Then good part for me (because I burn pretty hot) is that I can take them off as needed and throw them in my bag. They fit pretty well under the leg of my bibs and stay put, which is the biggest issue for me. Highly recommended.
