"I first bought the Kitsbow Icon in 2014 and out of all my apparel, both on and off the bike, it’s become a staple. As soon as the temps drop, it becomes my go-to mountain bike or bike touring jacket. I’ve taken spills, experienced thrills and everything in between with it...My point is, the Kitsbow Icon is the best flannel I’ve ever owned and there’s nothing I’d change about it."
"Trust me, I’m not one to recommend a riding shirt that costs $195 unless it’s good. Really good. Hand on heart, I wore the Pendleton wool Icon every day for 9 weeks solid – often at high altitude – in Ecuador and Peru. I washed in once… and it still looks absolutely brand new. I’m a creature of habit; the Icon has become my go to shirt, whether on tour, riding trails, or in a coffee shop. "
My Kitsbow Icon (relaxed fit) is without a doubt the best designed and best constructed shirt that I have ever purchased. It is also the most expensive shirt that I have ever purchased; however even so, it is great value. It sets a new standard for melding form, function and fashion. The attention to details in design is immaculate: I love the vented back; high-quality snaps rather than buttons make it a breeze adjusting on the trail; the abrasion panels insure the shirt will endure the inevitable friction of shoulder pads of a hydration or day pack. It is perfect for traveling light, as you can go straight from the trail to casual social situations and look great. I plan to be wearing the Icon for years to come.
Too narrow in shoulders, short in arms, and waist...in retrospect, trying to figure out how this shirt really functions as a biking shirt.. Looks cool...but for the money, you could buy 3 or 4 regular dedicated biking jerseys ...
I like the shirt. It’s a bit small verses all other shirts I own. I would fit in the slim size. I’d love to get more shirts if I could figure out the fit. It’s a bit pricey.
For years I've been waiting for an Icon Shirt that fits my larger frame. I'm a big guy who loves bikes. Now I'm a big guy who loves bikes and Kitbow for finally makes an Icon Shirt that fits me perfectly.
Love the new sizing of ICON Athletic Fit. I had purchased previous ICON in the past in XL just to fit in shoulders/Chest and it has been great, but the new fit in Large is perfect in shoulder/chest, it does fit a bit large in the waist yet this an overall greater fit. As with all Kitsbow product, the fit/finish is of highest quality and really appreciate the commitment to manufacturing and sustainability here and promoting local supply/manufacturing! Excellent work Kitsbow!
