how it works

1. Start by contacting us at info@kitsbow.com and tell us what happened.

Pro tip: you can call, but email is best. Photos help!


2. LIFETIME WARRANTY: This policy is no longer in effect as of 3/21/2023, as Kitsbow is shutting production. If your gear fails due to a manufacturing flaw, we'll fix it or replace it. We pay for your shipping to Kitsbow, and for shipping it back to you fixed.

This does NOT include damage from normal wear and tear. It does also not include what you might consider a 'Design Flaw'.

Pro Tip: photos when you first contact us will speed the whole process, email is best.


3. CRASH POLICY. This policy is no longer in effect as of 3/21/2023, as Kitsbow is shutting production. If you wreck your Kitsbow when you wreck on your bike, we're here to help. Contact us, and we'll probably ask you to send it to us (at our cost) we'll fix it if it can be fixed, and ship it back to you, at our cost.

If it can't be fixed, we'll find a way for you to replace it affordably. We want to get you back on the bike!

Pro tip: When you contact us, we appreciate clear photos, and if we ask you to send it back, you'll need to wash it first.


4. REPAIRS. This policy is no longer in effect as of 3/21/2023, as Kitsbow is shutting production. When your dog eats your Kitsbow, that's not on us. But never fear, we're here to help. Get in touch with us, with photos, and we'll figure out a plan.

We'll probably ask you to send it to us -- the cost of that is on you. Once we get it, we'll estimate the cost of repairs before starting work.

Our repair fees are either $20, $25, $30, or $40 per repair. Or we'll tell you it can't be repaired.

If you authorize the work, we'll put you in the queue. When it's finished, we'll pay for shipping it back to you.

Pro tip: Yes, we're happy to repair it so that you can list it for sale at Experienced Apparel.


5. RETURN BECAUSE IT DIDN'T FIT: This policy is no longer in effect as of 3/21/2023, as Kitsbow is shutting production. You can return your Kitsbow for any reason or no reason, but there are a few requirements.

First, contact us to get a FREE SHIPPING RETURN LABEL. Simply get in touch.

Second, this is only free if you do it within 30 days of RECEIVING your Kitsbow. We can check the 'Delivered Date' on your order, or you can provide a receipt if you purchased it elsewhere (very rare).

After 30 days, you pay shipping to Kitsbow.

Third, the Returned Item must be received by Kitsbow and inspected before the Return is accepted.

This means the labels and tags must still be attached, and the item has not been worn -- specifically it is not obviously used, soiled, sweaty, or damaged.

Fourth, if the Returned Item is accepted by Kitsbow, then you will receive a refund back in the same method in which you paid for the item IF RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS.

Otherwise, you will be issued a store credit for the same amount, good for one year from the date we Accept your return.

Fifth, if we cannot Accept your return for any reason, we'll ship it back to you, at our cost.

Pro Tip: When your Kitsbow arrives, promptly try it on at home and contact us right away if it isn't going to work. We can help find the right fit/size for you right away.

6. EXCHANGES: This policy is no longer in effect as of 3/21/2023, as Kitsbow is shutting production. We no longer do exchanges in a literal sense.

Contact us, and we'll help you return the first item and order the second, and most importantly, offer expert advice on fit/size on the second item.
