Does your favorite summer shirt come with air conditioning? Ours does, or at least it feels that way. This revolutionary Polartec® fabric actually helps lower your body temp as you ride. Polartec® Delta™ uses radiating knit structures containing both hydrophilic and hydrophobic yarn to actively lower your body temperature without using any chemicals. Our new favorite summer shirt – because, you know, science.
I generally run hot not matter what activity I’m engaged in. The Delta Tee V2 is now my go to piece for trail runs, bouldering or crag sessions, yoga, bike-anything, etc…. It literally feels like an adventure buddy I don’t want to leave home without. Fit is typical for a men’s medium (I’m 5’10/ 165lbs) and this is form fitting with an excellent range of motion through the shoulders and plenty of air circulation through the body panels. You can’t go wrong here folks. It's simply that good.
I was surprised at how the Delta Tee V2 feels both airy AND substantial. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but it’s true. The t-shirt is featherweight but because of the way the fabric was knitted, it doesn’t feel flimsy. It breathes wonderfully — I’ve worn it as a wicking layer underneath a winter shell (it’s still cold at this writing) and found that it wicked so well that my body heat was constantly drying the Delta Tee while riding. I can’t wait to wear this during the real heat! It’s a remarkable t-shirt and super comfortable.
I love my Delta tee V1 and was a little surprised that the V2 had some differences. The shirt material is still super light and airy, but it seems even lighter/thinner than V1. Time will tell if this is a good or bad thing. All my other Kitsbow gear holds up, so I trust the V2 will also. My only real complaint is that they shortened the body length by 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch or so. As a tall/skinny guy, I wish they would have left this alone. I feel like it has ok coverage on the bike, but it seems to ride up more in the back. For use as a multi-purpose shirt it’s now a little too short. Maybe others were complaining that the V1’s were too long? If they add the length back or offer a ‘long’ version, it would be perfect.
This jersey breathes SO WELL. The fit is just right: loose enough but not baggy. I love the style. I'm done with big logos and the nascar designs. This is the perfect jersey for hot days. I hope it's resistant to waterpack and bushes.
Love the fit, feel and breathability…but on first washing, which I do with everything I buy one of the shirts started to unravel a bit like it had snagged on something. The only thing in the washer and drier was bike clothing. So nothing to snag on…unless it was velcro from another set of shorts. If this is so, that’s a bummer. I’m not washing these on their own and for the cost I would think they would be a little more durable. I mean they are for mountain biking right. I don’t ride a lot of hero dirt so my stuff needs to stand up to being in the woods. If it can’t take the washer and drier I’m a bit concerned. Will I buy more? You bet. Hoping I just got one that had some slight issues. To date all of the stuff I have bought from Kitsbow has been bomber.
