Purchased for my girlfriend
Purchased for my girlfriend- she says it runs "slightly small". However she is planning on ordering a second one, so I think that tells you how she reviews it
Galena hoodie medium
Although I am willing to pay for quality, I have a hard time spending on myself. So took a while to complete my galena jacket order & got it just as summer started. Fast forward to fall/winter riding— typically 5 days a week & wearing my jacket every ride! Soft, cozy, really well- made, quality product, and great fit! I wear a merino wool tee under and no hood unless temperatures are below 40. Then add a lightweight rain/ wind jacket over with hood under helmet. Keeps me at a perfect riding temp up & down hill. Although I got it for cycling, wore it for hiking/ trail running/ climbing on a recent road trip when I didn’t want to pack other jackets. So now I think I need a second one, since I’m wearing it ALL the time! My advice is treat yourself to this jacket—worth every penny!
So far, so great
Love this hoodie, especially right now in the depths of Minnesota winter—hard to take it off! Was great layered under a down jacket for hiking the trails but have yet to actually use it on the bike. But the fit and feel point to more awesomeness. I bought a medium and I’m a curvy 5’3”. It’s a tiny bit long but figure that will be helpful on the bike.
I snagged one of these for my partner's birthday. She's not a runner or cyclist, but was looking for a nice hoodie for walking our newborn and our pups, as well as a comfy casual go-to for every day use. Her birthday was a month ago and she hasn't taken it off since. She really appreciated the non-thumbhole aspect, finds the fit comfy, and loves that it doesn't instantly look like a piece of athletic apparel.
Another great piece
I got this for my wife since colder weather is coming in. She liked the color and wears it all the time. When I asked how she liked it, she replied ‘you’re going to want me to wash this since I wear it every day’. To which I replied ‘no worries - it’s Merino!’
