Icon Shirt Relaxed Athletic Fit
The Pendleton® wool fabric is both soft and tough; and regulates temperature naturally, maximizing comfort as conditions change, making it perfect for traveling light.
We've designed the Relaxed Athletic Fit as an ideal Shirt-jacket fit. Cut with just enough room in the shoulders and chest for layering, while allowing for excellent range of motion and a moderately tailored look.
If you normally wear a Signature Fit, consider adding a Relaxed Athletic Fit to your lineup for use as a perfect outer-layer shirt or light jacket.
Note: When you place your order today you will wait about 2 weeks for your Icon to ship, sometimes longer for certain fabrics. Why? So many compliments (“sexy AF” are just a few.) Wool Just looks “next level”! Super functional and comfortable. I previously purchased the “original” ICON, and I will not lie, it’s a little tight, even in the XL (and I cannot bring my 5’11” 215 lb self to buy the XXL). I ordered the “relaxed fit” in L and it fits perfect (thank the Lord).
Kitsbow makes a lot of promises in the copy that describes their Icon wool shirt. In an age where truth is a scarce commodity, it is very refreshing to discover someone who is transparent and tells the truth. They warned that demand was unexpectedly high when I submitted my order and that it would take longer than normal to deliver but that I wouldn’t be disappointed. That was true. After wearing it for a few weeks, Ive kind of forgotten about the wait. They said they try to make the best fitting shirt possible. That was true. They glowingly described the Pendleton wool fabric as soft and tough. Yep, that’s true. It is my extremely good fortune that the relaxed athletic fit option results in a shirt that fits like it was made for me by a tailor. I’ve never had a shirt that fits this well. It might not be important to everyone, but I feel good knowing that the choice of this shirt is directly tied to some good folks in Old Fort being able to earn a decent wage and make a living doing something that can be proud of. The quality of cutting and sewing and construction of this shirt is beyond expectation. Would it be extravagant to try to make room in the closet for a second one?
I thiink this Icon is even better than the one I bought a year of so ago. The fabric seems a little thinner and the relaxed fit is great. Can't really afford to keep buying these shirts but the temptatiion is always there. Even though it took awhile for the shirt to be produced it was well worth the wait.
My dad loves his new shirt. He thinks it’s one of the most comfortable shirts he owns!
This shirt is very well made and looks great but it's not as breathable as I hoped for a wool shirt. During high output activities (bike/ski) it holds in sweat more than other wool shirts and jackets that I have.
