Fantastic Multipurpose Gear
I snagged one of these a few weeks ago and it hadn't quite made it into the cycling gear yet... basically I wore it the day it arrived, confirmed it was nice and comfy, and tossed it into the "deal with this later" stack of clothes. Then my partner went into labor and on my way out the door to the hospital I panic packed and threw it into my bag. When we got home almost a week later I had fallen in love with my new daughter and this shirt. I wore it each day and night in the hospital and it kept me in perfect comfort. Since it's wool, I didn't worry about it starting to smell - frankly there were times it smelled better than I did. Love the cozy hood, and the thumb holes. Fast forward a few days and my partner keeps asking about it and commenting on how nice it feels... and that's the story of how I, like DJ Khaled says, ordered "another one."
Amazing and extremely comfortable
This s my second hoodie from Kitsbow and I would not recommend anything else. My first one is falling apart after years of abuse so I bought a second one. I hope they keep making them.
I have one of the first Kitsbow tops, can’t remember the name, it has quilted shoulder and elbow pads in XXL fits perfect. Ordered the Kitsuma in XL and it runs large, if I hadn’t been in the UK I would have returned for a smaller size.
A Departure From Past Greatness
This review is for the designers as well as future buyers. I owned the first generation of this hoody (see pictures, grey hoody) & have had it for years. I literally wear it almost everyday year round in Montana. It is turning to dust as I wear the **** out of it. It's warm, comfortable, & looks great. This new version (pictured in blue) is really a significant drop off from the past hoody. The new version eliminated the denser material around the waist & sleeves, which gave the garment more structure & a more tailored fit. The zipper on mine seems to be sewn on wrong as the zipper sits wavy on my chest when zipped up & the bottom of the garment sticks out around my waist & generally looks dumpy. The torso of the garment just doesn't fit as tailored as the previous version and just seems a bit boxy. A few recommendations for future iterations: bald men & those of us who shave would be thrilled to see you retire the synthetic mesh on the hood (and pockets) as it irritates the **** outta our sensitive skin. The worlds best material for next to skin comfort, MERINO WOOL. Not a fishing net. The front pockets need zippers. As for the thumb holes on sleeves. I mean come on. Even the guy who originally thought of this idea doesn't even use the thumb holes as they are torture devices. Even his mom thinks those holes were a ****** idea. Forever retire these thumb traps.
Go to Fall Outerwear. Fits amazing under shell!
Some of my favorite FALL gear. Follow the sizing guide: I’m larger chest so this is XXL where the shirts were XL
