Our most versatile and dynamic short just got better. This feature-rich short was born from your feedback that we needed “one short to rule them all.” Cross that with our obsessive attention to detail, our desire to constantly improve, and your continued input, and this is the result: our top-of-the line short. The performance-oriented cut and premier fabric remain the same. Additional front zipper pockets were added for convenience off the bike.
"We’re suckers for quality, and Kitsbow Clothing is the definition of quality. We love the cut and fit. We love the detailing and the durability, which is right where it needs to be for a life off-road. And there’s something appealing about wearing the right kit that’s fit for purpose, without screaming ‘mountain biker’. Kind of like having silent freewheels for those naughty trails. The Adjustable A/M shorts are the shortest length shorts in the Kitsbow range. Designed with a close fit and on the knee length, they’re more for fast, flowing XC missions and multi-minute climbs rather than for knee pad touting gravity botherers."
"We discovered California brand Kitsbow last year at a trail race at Snowbird Ski Resort. Combining attention to details, classic merino wool, and more technical fabrics into each piece, their mountain biking collection is a functional work of art on the trail...with the softshell Adjustable All-Mountain Shorts, you’ve got a set of biking apparel that will take you for thousands of miles of trail time. Be prepared for the envious stares you’ll get at the bike shop and bar after your ride."
I wanted to wait a few months to review my Kitsbow Adjustable A/M shorts. I wanted to have something to primarily use for MTB biking, some road biking and also hiking - plus be feel comfortable in to grab a post ride beer. So far I'm happy with my purchase. The black stays cool while ridding in the sun, plus they dry quickly which is great. The shorts stretch a little while riding, which in my case is good. I purchased online and wasn't sure if XS would be too small. My only advice would be too size up if you are indecisive or in-between sizes as you can always adjust tighter with the adjustable straps. This is my only minor complaint for my personal purchase. For those who do ride with pads, if worn loosely they cover the upper pad while standing but leave a small gap while peddling (unless you have longer pads/material that cover more of the knee area. Over all happy with my purchase and would consider another pair (purhaps the Haskell to wear more on shorter rides and have an urban feel for hiking/camping etc). Pat
Have had this shorts for not too long and have bee loving the fit and form of it to bits. Sizing is true to size. Construction is good but in a 3 meh period one of the seam below the pocket had opened up. Would definitely get another one!
;TLDR; Best shorts I've ever ridden. I must say, I'm not a regular rider, because I'm pretty heavy (much more then 100 kg) so the clothes I'm using have to last and work well. These shorts are really one of the best I've ever tried. They are really comfortable and light, also strechs very well. In case of unfavorable weather they dry very quickly. Also looks really nice and can be used even if you are not on the bike. I have only one complaint, because I don't have athletic figure nothing is better than regular belt to hold the shorts where you want. But I must admit that these shorts do the job better than most of the competitors.
This is without a doubt the best short made in the market. That's no exaggeration. Bring it back Kitsbow! Great fit, extremely comfortable and durable fabric. I really like the pocket placements and zippers. If they get in stock again, don't wait as I'm sure it will sell out again.
If you're looking for a DH style baggies, these ones aren't the right ones. These are elegant, fits like if you we're a pro-road rider, they're very tight. Looks like you are wearing a suit. Apart from that, excellent ones. Slim, fitted, love the magnetic solutions on the back pockets, the perfect length, the XDRY system works... Worth the money!
