OUR CREW OFTEN RIDES HARD AND WE ARE HERE FOR YOU WHEN THINGS GO AWRY. IF YOU CRASH AND TRASH YOUR KITSBOW, GET IN TOUCH WITH US.
If it can be repaired, we'll do that for a reasonable charge. If it can't be repaired (if you were really ripping it), we'll figure out a way to get you back on your bike wearing Kitsbow anyway. Just get in touch. The same policy applies to typical wear and tear: we'll repair it for a reasonable charge (if it can be repaired) or get you back into Kitsbow some other way if it cannot be repaired.
It's hard to wear anything else now
These shorts are fantastic. I could tell the quality as soon as I felt the waistline and closures. The main material is comfortable, smooth, stretchy and breathable. The belt holds fast and the side belt closure helps keep the chunky, cool aluminum buckle from poking you in the belly. They fit true in the waist and a little tighter in the legs. The reverse pockets took some getting used to but grew on me quickly. They are on the smaller side, so if you use a larger android or Iphone with a case you'll be squeezing a little. With that said, the tight pockets are great for keeping your phone/ wallet from jiggling around on trail. I wear these to work on on 90*+ days in a high activity humid environment. They are my go to shorts
Mescal Ventilated Short
These are by far the best riding shorts I own. They are well engineered, flexible and fit my Android phone, which is about as large as my TV!! I have a Size Large and generally wear a 32" waist. They feel slightly big, but that doesn't bother me a bit.
New Go-to Shorts
Been on about 10 rides in them so far. The good: Slim cut looks good, but not too tight when off the bike, on they feel much more like road bibs in that they don’t catch on anything. The slide in snap is great. Just enough opening for light knee pads. Feel very breathable. Didn’t look bad after my first fall in them. Downsides: Belt, while nicely off to the side in a comfortable way tends to slide loose over time. I’m in between sizes and went smaller so this hasn’t been a real issue, but had I sized up it would’ve. The breathable fabric on the back of the knees doesn’t play well with the Velcro of my pads, so it’s already wearing the fabric and also causes them to come loose and rub. This could also fairly be blamed on the design of the Dainese trail skins, but I ride in FL and haven’t found something comprable ventilation wise. Would easily but another pair of that little piece of fabric was the same as the rest of the shorts.
My favorite pair of shorts!
This is my favorite pair of shorts. They feel great, the zip pockets are perfectly designed, and the weight of the material is perfect. Initially I had some trouble with the built-in belt… but now I love it. I’ve just ordered a pair of Haskell, I really hope they perform as well as the Mescal. I’m positive I will order another pair in the future.
These were exactly what I was looking for. I had been on the Patagonia dirt roamers for a couple years and they were my go-to MTB short. I hate baggy/saggy mtb shorts. I like the slim fit that hugs the legs and doesn't get hung up on my seat and these fit the bill. They are comfortable and have the right amount of features. My only (very slight) gripe is the pocket placement. I like the pockets on the side of the legs, but they are a little too high. When you sit down on the saddle, my phone is basically up by my hip. With my old Patagonia shorts, the pockets sat a little lower on the leg, in between the hip and the knee and this felt much more preferred while riding. Outside of that, the price is a bit steep, actually I think these are the most expensive shorts I've ever seen anywhere. But they are handmade in the US and if we want US made products, this is the price we have to pay.
