This is a fantastic fall jersey for Northern California. A bit warmer, but still very breathable and comfortable when it's damp out. It works in a wide range of conditions. The XL fit is great for me at 6'4" and 215#. It's beautifully made, and stylish without a bunch of logos. Not to mention the outstanding customer service I got.
Really soft and comfy, it fits and looks great on and off the bike. I say it fits slightly small, but that’s mostly in comparison to shirts of the same size made by other companies. The Kitsbow sizing seems to be accurate, but order up if you’re looking for a more casual fit. I haven’t put mine through any sort of rigorous ride yet, but can’t wait to do so when I find some warmer weather.
I didn’t know I wanted this so much…
When the Mullinax short sleeve came out I snagged one because I thought the price was fair, and I figured the light weight wool would work well for layering and as a plain T for 3/4 of the seasons in the Northwest. True to form, it became my go-to… so much so that I snagged another. When the 3/4 came out I avoided it’s good looks, its obvious connection to my enduro roots, and equally comfortable price point. I had forgotten how comfortable a 3/4 sleeve felt leaned over in a corner with fern leaves slightly moistened from a fall breeze tickling my elbows. This short brought it back for me. I already knew I was a fan of the fabric, but again the well placed seems that never seem to catch on anything and casual style make it work so well. Like most items in the Kitsbow range, this product doesn’t scream “Bicycle Apparel” to anyone that sees it, yet has just enough purposeful hints for those that know.
Perfect for the in-between temperatures
The Merino blend has a comfortable feel on the body, and is also comfortable on those days when one it is cool either early or in the shade, and warmer otherwise. The fabric also seems very durable.
