"Comfort IS king when it comes to shorts, and boy do these breathable beauties have that in spades. No straps also means easy access, which can be a life saver in those 'hard to hold it ' moments on the bike." Ambassador, Yuri Hauswald, on why the Origin Cycling Liner makes his top three favorite pieces of Kitsbow gear.
Sometimes good design is intended to go unnoticed. This undershort was crafted to disappear beneath you so all you have to focus on is your next move.
"Designed to be worn underneath ordinary pants, this short has a soft elastic waistband and ultra-comfy chamois to relieve pressure on your sit bones."
"I ride roads far more than trails, but during my brief forays back into mountain biking this year, I traded bibs for off-road shorts from Kitsbow’s new Origin Collection, and I was very impressed. The California-based active apparel maker cuts no corners on quality, and the stuff looks good, feels good, and rides great. "
I'm usually a bib user to avoid the dreaded sag, but these liners stayed put and comfortable throughout the ride. The pad is perhaps the best I've used, comfortable and unobtrusive. The liners work perfectly in concert with the Origin shorts I bought at the same time.
The Origin Base Shorts are GREAT, they stay exactly where they should without feeling like I’m stuffed into a sausage casing. The padding is perfectly placed with great cushioning and not too much bulk. A great base short for any length ride. I’ll be ordering more of these and all my old base shorts will be tossed out ... I’m hooked!
These are FANTASSTIC! I got these because the "base" shorts in a couple pairs of mountain bike shorts left a lot to be desired, particularly the pads. I have ridden with the Original Base Shorts in combo with both MB shells and jeans and absolutely love them! In fact, I'm buying another pair. Well done!!
use these as a base short for mountain biking. I wouldn't use them on road rides but they are probably the best base short for shorter rides
This short has been comfortable & solid on rides from July through the winter. One warning though; order one size up unless you want a very compressed fit.
