Best ever - short legs, perfect fabric, chammy-less : dialed
I was skeptical that a pair of tights could stand out. I mean, it's stretchy, warmish, form fitting. But I was wrong. These are the best tights I've ever used, make my legs so happy in wet, cold, runs, under shorts, under bibs. I even slept in them in a cold cabin last week. FABRIC - If you have the new arm warmers and kneewarmers, this has the same thickish , durable stretch merino. I'd happily buy a coffee for whomever engineered this fabric. It is amazing. The arm/knee warmers were perfect for a Fall ultra race in VT in rainy 60s and 40s at night. So far this early winter, the tights have been cool enough for 40s , yet warm enough for riding in the low 20s. NO CHAMMY ?! - I was skeptical, but trust me, it's wonderful. Most of my rides are aerobic 1-2 hrs long on technical trail. Chammy just isn't needed. I wear Mezcal Ventilated shorts over them in the winter, and all is comfy. Paired with summer bibs and they will work for longer rides. They double as great trail running tights in ****** or cold weather. I'll wear an athletic boxer under to keep the shweaty balls at bay, but they'll feel great against the skin. LENGTH - The 'short' version is perfect. No bunching, no exposed ankles. Just the right lenght. SIZE- Medium. 5'10", 170lbs. I wear Medium and some Small Kitsbow items, Small in most other brands.
Do nice to have tights that are made for shorter people. Got the small size in short and they fit perfectly. Love the mesh pockets.
Great cycling pants!
Great feel, good stretch, tested on the Colorado front range. Over my bibs but under some shorts. Probably the best cycling pants I've ever worn. Looking forward to more gear. Thank youm
The day after my Rockstacker tights arrived the temperature was thirty degrees, so I took a ride-the-temperature ride to test them out. The material was a little lighter than I expected. The tights were o.k. at thirty degrees, but if it gets much colder, I would want to wear something heavier. I have a 32-inch waist, so the medium was just right, snug, but not too snug. I was a little concerned that they would slip down. Sure enough, I had to stop twice in thirty miles to pull the waistband up. In terms of workmanship, the tights deserve five stars, but I took off one star for the lightweight fabric, too light for Januarys in Ohio. I took another star off because I'm going to have to buy some suspenders before my next ride-the-temperature ride.
Just like everything else I own from Kitsbow
Love the Rockstacker. Another favorite from Kitsbow. Great fit and very comfortable. My. We go to tight.
