The rugged Haskell Short is a vehicle for adventure; urban, suburban, or way out there in the back country. Instead of creating a riding short you can wear anywhere, we made an anywhere short you can take riding. It's built to move from bike to boat, camp to cafe. The nylon/spandex blend is up for any challenge. The Haskell features an array of useful details in our active-inspired, tailored fit. What doesn’t the Haskell Short do? We’re still trying to find out.
"People like to talk about one-quiver bikes, and one-quiver skis—well, the Haskell is the one-quiver short. They’re great for riding your mountain or commuter bike with a slim cut but a huge range of motion. They’re also great for picnics, playgrounds with the kids, soccer, watching television, drinking beer or anything else you can think of. I literally live in these shorts when the weather’s warm. All that movement comes from a nylon/spandex mix that’s wicked stretchy but also plenty tough. If you take a spill in the hills the shorts will be fine. And if you get caught in the rain a DWR finish means you won’t look like a wet dog."
love the durability and fit of my Haskell shorts
I climbed the “Grand” in Jackson Hole in these shorts and two weeks later was on a Santa Cruz Hightower in Harrisonburg, VA riding the back 40! Just love these shorts!! Thanks Tom
These shorts are really a cut above every other riding shorts I've ever owned. The craftsmanship, fit and thinking that went into the features of these shorts are truly inspired. The stretch of the fabric is generous. Normally you'd get 3-4% in other riding shorts, but 7% is twice as nice. Even the pockets stretch! I haven't even taken them riding yet, but used them for work or going out. They look nicer than my "dress up" shorts! The only knock I have is the price. I could only justify getting the older ones in the "Last Chance Zone" (No returns or exchanges). I got 1 size smaller than I should have, which felt tight around the waist the day I got them, but after wearing them a few times it now feels fine. I'm sure if I got the right size they would be the perfect shorts.
I love it, wear it a lot, at work, out at the bar or on the bike ! Tough material but tend to be a bit warm on hottest days. Some stitchings are weak.
Super comfortable, look great, and very functional. Highly recommended!
