"Going on a brisk bike ride down to your local brewery? Be sure to don this ultra modern and super slick update on the flannel. Built with tradition from Pendleton wool and dragged into the modern era with abrasion-resistant Schoeller 3X dry panels located over the shoulders and elbows to limit the damage from any meetings with the pavement after a few too many brewskis."

"This might look like any old flannel button-up, but it’s actually a finely crafted, highly technical, and seriously cozy long-sleeve jersey. The worsted flannel wool crafted by Pendleton is, at once, soft enough to wear next-to-skin but so insulating that I’ve donned it, over a midweight baselayer, in full winter conditions. It’s also surprisingly breathable, as with all good wool, as well as warm even when wet. It’s tailored trim so there’s no excess fabric to flop around in the wind, and the sleeves are long for the riding position."

New winter riding go-to.

Well made shirt with a ton of subtle details that set it apart from other cycling specific button downs. WARM!!! BREATHABLE!!! This is the ultimate winter layering piece. This shirt is well worth every penny, buy it while you can.

Surprisingly comfortable for the weight

So when I first opened this shirt I thought there was no way it'd breathe and be comfortable - the material just seemed on the thick side. Turns out it's both - I haven't ridden it hard in warmer weather yet but it does a great job when it's cool, providing insulation and some wind blocking without overheating. I'm a fan!

Burn all your other flannels

There is only one flannel in this world. It’s this one. Buy one, wear it everywhere. Ride in it, work in the yard in it, drink beers in it, nap in it, get arrested in it, whatever you’re into. Just wear it for a long time. Then take it off and prepare for withdraws. You’ll be searching for the Kitsbow support group to cope with your separation anxiety. Need more convincing? Didn’t think so.
