This shirt came up to all my expectations. Will probably wear it more as a casual and work shirt as the sleeves were slightly short when stretched out on the bike. The wool is very comfortable and the fit is trim, looks great.
Great warm shirt. First used it on a 29 degree afternoon ride in Western Wyoming Being a range sheep producer, I fully understand all the wonderful attributes of wool. Very warm and comfortable. I wear a medium and I wish it were just a bit more roomy in the back and shoulders. But again, a great bike shirt and I will also use it for skiing
Amazing quality and beautiful colors! But the slim fit didn't work out so reordered the relaxed version instead. Return/exchange was easy to do online. Now to wait for it to arrive...
Given the price of the Icon shirt, the use of Pendleton wool fabric, and the fact that it is sewn in the US, my expectations for this shirt were high. I don't usually spend $200+ on a shirt, but have been ******* for the Icon since the buffalo check Icon V1 came out. I finally dropped the coin and got one. I bought a size small, I am 5' 8", 145 lbs. Part of me wonders how the XS would have fit, but overall I am happy with how the shirt fits. The craftsmanship is far superior to any other shirt I have ever owned. I really appreciate the added technical bits on the shirt, the snap buttons, shoulder and elbow reinforcement, vented back. I wear the shirt multiple times a week. My work can often times take me outside in varying conditions and this shirt has become a go to for field days. If I could offer a bit of constructive criticism, it's that I feel like the collar is a little too big and bulky, I would like to see that slimmed down a bit.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with our Icon. We appreciate hearing the things we do well in addition to the constructive criticism!
