Wake ProTech™ Merino Reusable Face Mask (with Filter)
NOTE: We are making these by hand in Old Fort, NC as fast as we can, but we're about 10 days behind right now. If you're in a hurry, you may want to choose our Kitsbow mask.
The Wake ProTech™ Merino Reusable Face Mask, is a lighter, easier breathing mask, while adding long-wearing comfort where protection is essential — especially for Front Line workers in critical industries.
The merino knit fabric forms to many face shapes allowing for a consistent comfortable seal around the face. We chose merino because it feels so great against the skin, holds shape without added bulk, and breathes a bit easier, making an ideal companion to wear for outdoor activities. The ribbed-knit merino fabric brings style to its wearability.
Designed in collaboration with Wake Forest Baptist Health, the Wake ProTech™ by iQ Healthtech™ Merino Reusable Face Mask is designed to be comfortable, long-wearing, and attractive.

I ordered a bunch of different masks to try for teaching, and this is far and away the winner. So far it is the only mask that seems functional for long wear on my ****** sweaty face. Definitely the most comfortable and breath-able and non-glasses-fogging so far, even when wet. (Seriously, even walking across campus in humid Missouri summer, then teaching for 75 minutes in an air conditioned classroom, no fogging.) In a 30-person classroom, I do not feel like I need to speak much louder than normal to be heard (one of the main drawbacks of just wearing an n95 every class). I think (but won't swear to it) that I was between sizes and ordered down - feels very secure and tight to my face.
Breathable and light--the Wake ProTech Merino is the everyday version of the Wake ProTech, which I also own and love. I cannot recommend this version anymore highly, and if you have a huge face and head, their sizing is excellent. I wear a size 8 1/2 hat and have a broad face, and the XXL is a bit big. Great for crowded areas and long periods of wearing a mask, i.e., an airplane. The Merino is my go-go for all other settings.
Got my order Thur May 6 after placing it on Tue Apr 27. Great job thanks for your ongoing efforts. I've ordered 5 times now and really enjoy wearing your masks each time I'm out and about. I also want to mention your choice of shipping, the US Postal Service. GREAT choice as I'm a BIG fan of our postal service. Can't beat going out to the mailbox and finding a nice surprise waiting inside.
Total satisfaction! Fits well, feels "luxurious," and my glasses really DON'T fog up. I'm a happy camper. Thanks!
When I switched from wearing masks occasionally to wearing them for hours at a time, I realized most masks were simply too uncomfortable. With bands behind the head instead of the ears, these are substantially more comfortable.
