Wake ProTech™ Merino Reusable Face Mask (with Filter)

The Wake ProTech™ Merino Reusable Face Mask, is a lighter, easier breathing mask, while adding long-wearing comfort where protection is essential — especially for Front Line workers in critical industries.

The merino knit fabric forms to many face shapes allowing for a consistent comfortable seal around the face. We chose merino because it feels so great against the skin, holds shape without added bulk, and breathes a bit easier, making an ideal companion to wear for outdoor activities. The ribbed-knit merino fabric brings style to its wearability.

Designed in collaboration with Wake Forest Baptist Health, the Wake ProTech™ by iQ Healthtech™ Merino Reusable Face Mask is designed to be comfortable, long-wearing, and attractive.

The best mask! Glasses will NOT fog up on MTB / gravel rides

5-stars! The Kitsbow Wake ProTech is the best mask out there based on the high-quality materials, on-face comfort, and temperature/breathability. Plus, the mask is the first one since the COVID-19 pandemic that enables one to wear a mask while riding / running without sunglasses fogging up. The toggles on cords do not cause any issues when wearing a cycling helmet. I have been able to wear the mask while on big gravel and mtb rides exceeding 35 miles and 7,000 ft of elevation gain ... and without my Smith MTB sunglasses fogging up. Most importantly- the Wake ProTech mask has made my wife very happy, too!! She had been so frustrated that I would not wear a mask previously on gravel / MTB rides as the first 3 miles of trails into our riding areas are high traffic with hikers and riders and with only about 50 percent of trail users wearing masks. I estimate 75 percent of hikers wear masks whilst only 20-25 percent of rides wear a mask. Maybe the Kitsbow Wake ProTech Mask will increase that low mask adoption rate of active trail users.

Full coverage

The most comfortable PPE I’ve used and love how each item is made to order. No more ear pulling and such ease taking it off for a quick slurp or bite and quick on when you see that oncoming traffic. Highly recommended this to my friends and family.

Excellent for outdoor activity - but take your time to get the right fit

I went with Kitsbow primarily because of the options on sizing. I have a broad and long face with a big nose that proved a challenge to many other masks I tried. I also thought the solid structure and ample "beak" would work well with outdoor exertion (running & cycling). The mask has certainly proven its worth for outdoor activity, but it took me awhile to get the right fit. I ordered the XL, and at first thought it was too large, as it kept riding up my nose and squinching under my eyes. I discovered that I had to play with the tension of the two elastics. I had the top elastic too tight and not tight enough around the neck. Now, I've figured out that I need to begin with a pretty tight neck elastic, then adjust the top elastic to pull the mask taut, and then loosen a smidge on the neck elastic. This fits well, but the Large might be a better fit for me in the end. Nonetheless, this is now an essential part of my COVID kit.
