It’s a season’s pass to shred in cold, wet, and variable conditions. The Women’s Tech Jacket combines stretchy, cozy, and breathable Polartec softshell in a performance-oriented, yet flattering cut. It's designed to fight the elements, while allowing you to shed heat without “peeling” a layer. Ride fast and look good doing it.
"A company of mountain biking obsessives, Kitsbow paid attention to all the small details in this women’s jacket. Polartec Power Shield fabric keeps the rider in your life warm with brushed fleece against the skin. Inherent fabric breathability plus thoughtful ventilation system minimizes discomfort during tough ascents. Made in Petaluma, CA, this jacket also looks good on the post-ride coffee run."
I like this jacket and especially like the front vent zippers. I wear an xs and think the sleeve length is a little long. The XS is very fitted and could only be worn over a light jersey. I though about exchanging it for a small but the small's sleeves would be way too long and maybe the whole jacket would be too big. I guess I am between sizes.
When you live in the PNW, you can never be too prepared for any kind of weather! This is the perfect solution for the chill and drizzle without looking like you're setting out for an expedition! Tailored and smart looking, you'll be warm and cozy while riding on trail or on your commute to work!
I offered it to my wife two years ago, and since then she has been wearing it on her bike ride to work everyday from October to April. Fit is perfect and materials are, as usual with this brand, super high quality.
I live near Asheville NC, and I have traveled to ride in California, Chattanooga, and Girona Spain since buying this jacket in January. The spring weather has been crazy in all locations...lots of wind, some rain, cooler than normal temps. Turns out I got this jacket at the perfect time. I've worn it while road and gravel cycling in cool temps and while hiking. It has unique vents (you can vent from the top down starting near the shoulders, or you can vent from the bottom up starting near the waist). This gives lots of control for comfort and the ability to add a little extra space if you fill your jersey pockets with arm warmers later in your ride. The jacket is super-stylish and looks great for apres-ride beers or tapas...whatever the case may be. The rear pocket is medium sized. The jacket has generous front pockets perfect for keeping my phone handy for taking photos. I love this jacket and will take it on all my future adventures...you never know when you will need a little extra protection from crazy spring weather.
